For hitting: multiple angles for bounces allow for various heights to maximize hitting angles. For fielding: angle the trampoline down and work on proper fielding techniques or set up at practice fields to work on double plays.
For young catchers: angle trampoline down to work on blocking & receiving skills.
For young players learning to "catch" a ball: have them stand facing the machine and work simply on catching the balls as they bounce with glove up, not like a basket. We start out with tennis balls for this then switch to baseballs or 12" softballs.
NOTE: send us YOUR training videos and we would love to post them on this site and our Facebook page!
Below is former MLB player Kevin Seitzer, at his facility years ago, demonstrating a few of his training drills. There are many more on YouTube.

TIPS & FAQs
Weaving the BandsIMPORTANT ! Before weaving onto the frame, coat with baby powder, flour or similar to prevent rubber bands from sticking when weaving. Also, a wire coat hanger or long crochet needle will help weave the bands. OR let your kids do this part and save you the headache lol. This step is basically like weaving "pot holders" we made as kids.
Band BreakageIf a band(s) break suddenly on a new machine, check between the trampoline frame "teeth" for any rough seams. Simply use a nail file or sandpaper to quickly smooth out. We try to check every one when fabricating.
SPEED CONTROL "Potentiometer"You can easily adjust the speed of the balls by turning the silver knob right or left. IF you ever turn the machine ON and it doesn't work, its probably due to turning the speed too slow. This will sometimes act as an OFF. MACHINE DOESN'T TURN ON OR BATTERY ISN'T CHARGING Check the Potentiometer (as stated directly above). If that isn't the problem, check the Universal Charger/Adapter Plug and make sure it is set at 9 amps. If it is set too low or even off, there is not enough power to turn it on or charge the battery.
BALLS STICK or SLOWS WHEELLow seam balls or older balls have less resistance and allow wheel to turn easier.TIP: We sometimes coat the outside of the wheels with lubricant for less friction on the balls if they stick.
